The Parish Council has received the following information from National Highways. Please contact National Highways if you have any questions (contact details at the bottom of the article).
What we’re doing and why?
We’ll be carrying out bridge repairs along the A5/Trewern Lane. The work has been
identified following a recent inspection of this part of the network. The completed work
will ensure that we continue to provide a safer road to all users.
When will this work take place?
We’ll work overnight when traffic volumes are lower on Wednesday 15 December,
Thursday 16 December and Friday 17 December, 9pm to 6am.
To complete our work safely, we’ll need to close Trewern Lane. Access will be
maintained throughout for residents, albeit subject to our diversion if trying to access
Trewern Lane from B5069.
What does this mean for you
During closures, a fully signed diversion will be in place as below;
I’d also like to apologise in advance for any inconvenience or disruption to those living
close to our work. We’ll make every effort to carefully manage noise levels and
additional lighting to minimise the impact.
Our work is subject to change due to any unforeseen circumstances.
