Draft Minutes of the Annual Parish Meeting held on Wednesday 24^th May 2023 at The Pavilion, Gobowen, commencing at 7pm

Councillors Present: T Broom, P Clare, S Crow, S Dyke, H Ellis, N Evans, I Lander, M McKenna, E Morgan, D Mellor, Shropshire Cllr M Jones.  

14 Members of the public present.

1.    Welcome

The Parish Council Chairman, Cllr Erica Morgan, welcomed everyone to the meeting.   

2.    Outgoing Chairman’s report and Annual Report from the Parish Council.

The outgoing Chairman, Cllr Craig Emery, had sent his apologies to the meeting.  Cllr Morgan read out his report.

3.    Shropshire Council Report

Shropshire Councillor Mark Jones gave a verbal report.

4.    Reports from Parish Organisations

7.    2022 Annual Parish Meeting report

Cllr Morgan read out the 2022 Annual Parish Meeting report.  It was confirmed as a true record of the meeting. 

8.    Parish Matters – Local government electors are invited to ask questions.

Members of the public asked questions and made comments about the maintenance of the roundabout in the centre of Gobowen village.

9.    Closing remarks by the Chairman

Cllr Morgan thanked all those in attendance and closed the meeting.
